are ongoing across portions of the warned area.
* WHERE…A portion of Deep South Texas, including the following
counties, Cameron, Hidalgo and Willacy.
* WHEN…Until 530 PM CDT.
* IMPACTS…Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Numerous roads
remain closed due to flooding. It will take several hours for all
the water from these storms to work through local drainage systems
in urban areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 1226 PM CDT, emergency management reported heavy rain in
the warned area. Flooding is already occurring. Between 6 and
12 inches of rain have fallen.
