The combination of low relative humidity and gusty winds will
create an increased risk for fire start and spread this afternoon
and evening.
We can expect relative humidity values as low as 25 to 35
percent, along with southwesterly winds of 10 to 20 mph with
gusts of 25 to 30 mph this afternoon.
These conditions could lead to the rapid spread of any fires that
do occur. Consult your local burn permitting authorities on
whether you may burn outdoors today. Spring fire season for the
state of Ohio is during the months of March through May. From
March 1st through May 31th…all outdoor burning is prohibited
between the hours of 6am and 6pm.
