Special Weather Statement issued March 28 at 3:46AM EDT by NWS Greenville-Spartanburg SC

Very dry conditions are expected to return by this afternoon,
with relative humidity dropping to the 20-25% range across most
of the region. Wind gusts of 20-25 mph are expected during the
afternoon, along with very dry fuels. Therefore, enhanced fire
danger conditions will continue.

A statewide burn ban remains in place in both North and South
Carolina until further notice.
