Flood Advisory issued March 29 at 1:37PM EDT until March 29 at 4:45PM EDT by NWS Key West FL

* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE…Lower Keys, including US 1 from MM 4 to MM 10

* WHEN…Until 445 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS…Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 137 PM EDT, National Weather Service Meteorologist
detected heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is
ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area.
Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen.
– Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.
– Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Key West, Boca Chica, Big Coppitt Key, Geiger Key, Key Haven
and Shark Key.
