Rio Grande River At Lower Brownsville affecting Cameron County.

For the Rio Grande River…including Falcon Dam, Below Falcon Dam,
Roma, Rio Grande City, Los Ebanos, Anzalduas Dam, Progreso, San
Benito, Lower Brownsville…elevated river levels are forecast.

* WHERE…Rio Grande River at Lower Brownsville.

* IMPACTS…At 24.0 feet, The river exceeds the lowest sections of
the banks inside the levees

– At 8:15 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 14.2 feet.
– Bankfull stage is 24.0 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise to a crest of 24.2
feet early Monday afternoon.
