Special Weather Statement issued March 29 at 4:12AM EDT by NWS Wakefield VA

The combination of dry fuels, S-SW winds of 10 to 15 mph gusting
to around 25 mph this afternoon, and relative humidity values
dropping to 30 to 35% will result in an increased fire danger
threat for the lower Maryland Eastern Shore.

Residents are urged to exercise caution handling any potential
ignition source…including machinery… cigarettes…and matches.
Be sure to properly discard all smoking materials. Any dry grasses
and tree litter that ignite will have the potential to spread
quickly.
