…LONG DURATION LATE SEASON WINTER STORM THIS WEEKEND…

.Waves of precipitation will track along a stationary front bringing
snow, sleet, and freezing rain to the region through the weekend.

* WHAT…Heavy mixed precipitation. Snow accumulations up to one
inch, sleet accumulations around one half of an inch, and ice
accumulations between one quarter and three quarters of an inch.

* WHERE…Western and Central Hillsborough, Merrimack, Sullivan, and
Cheshire Counties.

* WHEN…Until noon EDT Sunday.

* IMPACTS…Light icing of trees will cause some tree branches to
snap and others to be weighed down. The power outage threat is
elevated to locally significant. Travel will be dangerous and is
not advised due to icy road conditions.
