Winter Weather Advisory issued March 29 at 3:40AM EDT until March 31 at 6:00AM EDT by NWS Gray ME

…LONG DURATION LATE SEASON WINTER STORM THIS WEEKEND…

.Waves of precipitation will track along a stationary front bringing
snow, sleet, and freezing rain to the region through the weekend.

* WHAT…Mixed precipitation. Total snow accumulations between 3 and
5 inches, sleet accumulations around three quarters of an inch,
and ice accumulations between one tenth and four tenths of an inch.

* WHERE…Portions of south central, southwest, west central, and
western Maine and central and northern New Hampshire.

* WHEN…Until 6 AM EDT Monday.

* IMPACTS…A period of mixed precipitation is expected with air
temperatures remaining below freezing. Expect slippery road
conditions and avoid travel if possible. Even light snowfall
amounts can accumulate on roads and cause dangerous driving
conditions due to snow covered roads.
