Wisconsin…

Yellow River at Babcock affecting Wood County.

For the Yellow River…including Babcock…Minor flooding is
forecast.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Yellow River at Babcock.

* WHEN…Until Tuesday morning.

* IMPACTS…At 12.0 feet, Flooding is confined mainly to
agricultural…wooded lowland and marshes.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 10:00 AM CDT Monday the stage was 12.6 feet.
– Bankfull stage is 10.0 feet.
– Recent Activity…The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 10:00 AM CDT Monday was 12.6 feet.
– Forecast…The river will remain just above flood stage into
this afternoon, then fall below flood stage late this evening
and to 6.8 feet by early Thursday morning. The river will
rise again to around 9.0 feet late Saturday afternoon into
Sunday morning.
– Flood stage is 12.0 feet.

President Donald J. Trump Increases Federal Cost Share for West Virginia WASHINGTON -- Senior Official Performing the Duties of the Administrator, David Richardson, announced that President Donald J. Trump made additional disaster assistance available to the state of West Virginia to supplement recovery efforts in the areas affected by a severe storm, straight-line winds, flooding, landslides and mudslides from Feb. 15-18, 2025. The President authorized the federal cost-share to be increased from 75% to 90% for applicable categories of public assistance. The major disaster declaration approved on February 26, 2025, made federal funding available for public assistance, hazard mitigation and other needs
