A warm front moving into the Interior from the west will bring a
quick hit of widespread snowfall Sunday night and Monday morning,
lingering into the afternoon. Valley locations will rise into the
mid 30s Monday through Wednesday during the day, with temps
falling back below freezing at night. Snowfall accumulations will
come and go all the way through Thursday as a front remains
draped over the region. In addition, gusty southwest winds to 35
mph may cause minor blowing snow, with more widespread blowing
snow over the highway summits. More accumulating snow is likely
Monday night through Tuesday, with yet another round of
potentially accumulating snowfall Wednesday into Thursday. Some
valleys will see a mix of rain and snow in the afternoon periods
as snow levels rise to 700 feet.
