Special Weather Statement issued March 31 at 1:27PM EDT by NWS Greenville-Spartanburg SC

At 127 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 3 miles northeast of Hiawassee to 15 miles east
of Blairsville to 8 miles north of Gainesville. Movement was east at
40 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include…
Mountain City, Franklin, Long Creek, Tiger, Cornelia, Lake Burton,
Scaly Mountain, Sky Valley, Alto, and Tallulah Gorge State Park.
