THE FOLLOWING MESSAGE IS TRANSMITTED AT THE REQUEST OF THE
COLORADO AVALANCHE INFORMATION CENTER.

…AVALANCHE WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 7 AM TUESDAY UNTIL 5 PM TUESDAY

*WHAT… Dangerous avalanche conditions develop on Tuesday morning
and last through the day. Expect the Avalanche Danger to rise to
HIGH (Level 4 of 5).

*WHERE… Elk Mountains AND Gore Range.

*WHEN… Expect very dangerous avalanche conditions to begin on
Tuesday morning by about 7:00 AM and last until 5:00 PM.

*IMPACTS… High snowfall rates and strong winds will create
dangerous avalanche conditions by Tuesday morning. Large and
dangerous avalanches will be easy to trigger once the new snow
accumulates. Avalanches will run naturally. Travel in backcountry
avalanche terrain is not recommended.
