* WHAT…Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Vermilion River at Lafayette, Surrey Street Gage.

* WHEN…Until just after midnight tonight.

* IMPACTS…At 10.0 feet, Minor flooding of Heymann Park off of
Highway 90 will occur.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 9:15 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 10.3 feet.
– Recent Activity…The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 9:15 AM CDT Tuesday was 11.2 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to fall below flood stage
this afternoon and continue falling to 7.9 feet Sunday
morning.
– Flood stage is 10.0 feet.
