…The National Weather Service in Paducah KY has issued a Flood
Warning for the following rivers in Kentucky…

Green River at Paradise and at Calhoun.

.The first round of what will be many repeat rounds of heavy rain
heading into next weekend will be incoming soon. The heavy rain will
fall in the Green River basin and this is forecast to cause the
Green River to rise above flood stage later this week.

For the Green River…including Paradise, Calhoun…Moderate
flooding is forecast.

* WHAT…Moderate flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Green River at Calhoun.

* WHEN…From late Friday night until further notice.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 11:00 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 15.7 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise above flood stage
early Saturday morning and continue rising to 28.2 feet
Sunday morning. Additional rises are possible thereafter.
– Flood stage is 23.0 feet.
– Flood History…This crest compares to a previous crest of
28.2 feet on 01/27/1959.
