…The National Weather Service in Memphis TN has issued a Flood
Warning for the following rivers in Tennessee…

North Fork Obion River near Martin

Obion River near Obion

South Fork of the Forked Deer near Halls

Loosahatchie River at Arlington

For the Obion River…including Martin, Obion, Bogota…Moderate
flooding is forecast.
For the South Fork Forked Deer River…including Jackson, Halls…
Minor flooding is forecast.
For the Loosahatchie River…including Arlington…Minor flooding is
forecast.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…South Fork of the Forked Deer near Halls.

* WHEN…From Wednesday evening until further notice.

* IMPACTS…At 11.5 feet, Farmland near the river is flooded.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 11:00 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 3.0 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise above flood stage
late tomorrow evening and may continue to rise through this
weekend.
– Flood stage is 9.0 feet.

Special Weather Statement issued April 16 at 1:10PM CDT by NWS Sioux Falls SD

Warm and dry conditions are expected this afternoon. Coupled with breezy winds, conditions for fire are expected to be near critical. Areas along and east of I-29 are the most likely to experience near critical conditions. Humidity levels should decrease to 20-25% this afternoon as winds are weakening. Occasional gusts of 25-30 mph may create temporary periods of critical fire conditions.

* WHAT...Temperatures in the mid and upper 30s will result in frost formation. * WHERE...Portions of east central and southeast Indiana, northeast and northern Kentucky, and central, south central, southwest, and west central Ohio. * WHEN...From midnight tonight to 9 AM EDT Thursday. * IMPACTS...Frost could harm sensitive outdoor vegetation.
