near Burns.

For the Silvies River…including Burns…flooding will continue.

* WHAT…Flooding is occurring and flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Silvies River near Burns.

* WHEN…Until early Thursday morning.

* IMPACTS…Extensive flooding is occurring and affecting roads and
homes.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 4:00 AM PDT Tuesday the stage was 12.8 feet.
– Bankfull stage is 10.5 feet.
– Recent Activity…The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 4:00 AM PDT Tuesday was 13.4 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to fall below flood stage
tomorrow evening and continue falling to 11.9 feet Thursday,
April 10.
– Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
– Flood History…This crest compares to a previous crest of
13.1 feet on 02/20/1982.
