Winter Storm Warning issued April 1 at 3:14AM CDT until April 2 at 7:00PM CDT by NWS Grand Forks ND

* WHAT…Heavy snow and mixed precipitation expected. Total snow
accumulations between 5 and 11 inches and ice accumulations around
one tenth of an inch. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph.

* WHERE…Portions of central, north central, northwest, and west
central Minnesota.

* WHEN…From 7 PM this evening to 7 PM CDT Wednesday.

* IMPACTS…Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions
could impact the Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning commutes.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Mixed precipitation will start this afternoon
and evening, becoming all snow overnight. Several bands of heavy
snow are expected in many areas. Isolated heavy snow accumulations
greater than 11 inches are possible.
