of 1 to 4 feet above 4000 feet with 6 to 12 inches between
3500-4000 feet. Winds could gust as high as 55-65 mph.
* WHERE…West Slope Northern Sierra Nevada and Western Plumas
County/Lassen Park above 3500 feet.
* WHEN…Until 11 PM PDT Tuesday.
* IMPACTS…Travel could be very difficult to impossible. The
hazardous conditions could impact the Monday evening and Tuesday
morning commutes. Very strong winds could cause extensive tree
damage.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Snowfall rates up to 2 inches per hour
through this evening and again Tuesday morning through mid
afternoon. Snow levels around 4000-5000 feet, lowering to
3000-4000 feet by late this evening into early Tuesday. Light
snowfall accumulations of 1 to 6 inches are possible down to 3000
feet.
