For the Lower White River…including Newport, Augusta, Georgetown,
Des Arc, Clarendon…Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…White River at Des Arc.

* WHEN…From Sunday, April 13 until further notice.

* IMPACTS…At 24.0 feet, Many acres of farmland flooded within the
levees. Water is backing up Bayou Des Arc and Cypress Bayou.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 7:00 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 9.4 feet.
– Forecast…The river will fall to 9.0 feet Thursday morning.
It will then rise to 22.7 feet Tuesday, April 08.
– Flood stage is 24.0 feet.
