Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…South Fork of the Forked Deer at Jackson.

* WHEN…From Thursday morning to early Saturday morning.

* IMPACTS…At 35.0 feet, The east bank of the South Fork of the
Forked Deer River overflows, flooding low-lying areas of the
University of Tennessee Agriculture Experiment Station.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 12:00 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 25.2 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise above flood stage
tomorrow morning to a crest of 35.5 feet early Friday
morning. Pay close attention to subsequent forecasts as
multiple days of rain will impact the crest and duration of
the flooding. The river will likely remain elevated through
at least the weekend.
– Flood stage is 34.0 feet.
