.A multi-day heavy rain is headed toward the region beginning later
today and lasting through Saturday. Three days of rainfall is
incorporated into the forecast but it still does not include the
entire event. The Green River will start to rise Thursday and
increases in crest forecasts can be expected.

– At 8:00 AM CDT Wednesday the stage was 15.2 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise above flood stage
early Saturday morning and continue rising to 30.1 feet
Monday morning. Additional rises are possible thereafter.
– Flood stage is 23.0 feet.
