URGENT - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED Tornado Watch Number 93 NWS Storm Prediction Center Norman OK 1150 PM CDT Tue Apr 1 2025 The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a * Tornado Watch for portions of Southeast Kansas * Effective this Tuesday night and Wednesday morning from 1150 PM until 700 AM CDT. * Primary threats include... A few tornadoes likely with a couple intense tornadoes possible Widespread large hail and scattered very large hail events to 2.5 inches in diameter likely Scattered damaging winds likely with isolated significant gusts to 80 mph possible SUMMARY...A line of thunderstorms is expected to continue eastward into southeast KS over the next several hours. Increasing low-level moisture and strong low-level wind fields will support a threat for tornadoes within this line. The tornado watch area is approximately along and 75 statute miles east and west of a line from 55 miles southeast of Wichita KS to 40 miles north northeast of Emporia KS.
