* WHAT…South and southwest winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts 45 to 55
mph expected.

* WHERE…Portions of northern New York and northwest Vermont.

* WHEN…From 2 AM to 8 PM EDT Thursday.

* IMPACTS…Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree
limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Strong south winds late tonight through
morning will mainly impact the northern slopes of the Adirondacks
and northern Champlain Valley, then strong southwest to west winds
will primarily impact northern New York Thursday afternoon and
evening.
