* WHERE…White River at Newport.
* WHEN…From Sunday morning to Saturday, April 12.
* IMPACTS…At 31.0 feet, Patrolling of Newport, Jacksonport, and
Village Creek Levees begins. Homes and businesses inside levee at
Newport flooded. State Highways 14, 37, 69, 367, and 384 may all
be impacted by flooding with the lower lying highways closed.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 9:00 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 7.2 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise above flood stage
Sunday morning to a crest of 32.0 feet early Tuesday morning.
It will then fall below flood stage Friday, April 11.
