White River below Eagle Valley Power Plant.

…The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in
Indiana…

White River at Elliston.

White River at Spencer.

White River at Newberry.

White River at Ravenswood.

Eel River at Bowling Green.

.Significant and some major flooding is expected to develop
along the White River due to several rounds of heavy rainfall
through Sunday. Wednesday night rainfall of generally two to three
inches fell across the White basin. Additional rainfall of three to
five inches in the upper and middle White and five to seven inches
in the lower White is expected through Sunday morning, and this is
all included in today’s forecasts.

* WHAT…Moderate flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…White River at Spencer.

* WHEN…From this evening until further notice.

* IMPACTS…At 23.0 feet, Flooding affects all homes in Prospect
Park area in western Spencer. Evacuations are necessary. Flood
water affects southern Spencer and across the river in Southport
area. Fairgrounds parking lot and arena flood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 11:30 AM EDT Thursday the stage was 12.3 feet.
– Forecast…The river will rise above flood stage this evening
to 21.8 feet Sunday morning. It will then fall early Sunday
afternoon. It will rise to 23.0 feet Monday evening. It will
then fall again but remain above flood stage.
– Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
