Flood Warning issued April 3 at 7:04AM EDT until April 3 at 8:00PM EDT by NWS Buffalo NY

* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
Significant flooding of Ellison park is anticipated and the flood
waters may come close to Blossom Road.

* WHERE…A portion of western New York, including the following
county, Monroe.

* WHEN…Until 800 PM EDT Thursday.

* IMPACTS…Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 657 AM EDT, Irondequoit Creel was at 9.2 feet. Excessive
runoff from recent heavy rains will continue to produce
flooding along Irondequoit Creek today.
– Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is
expected.
– Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Rochester, Irondequoit, East Rochester, Fairport, Brighton,
Penfield and Pittsford.
