…The National Weather Service in Memphis TN has issued a Flood
Warning for the following rivers in Mississippi…

Coldwater River at Marks

For the Coldwater River…including Marks…Moderate flooding is
forecast.

* WHAT…Moderate flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Coldwater River at Marks.

* WHEN…From Saturday evening until further notice.

* IMPACTS…At 41.0 feet, Widespread flooding of residential areas
and farmland is occurring in northern Quitman county. Numerous
secondary roads are flooded.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 9:00 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 29.4 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise above flood stage
late Saturday evening and continue rising to 41.0 feet
Tuesday morning. Pay close attention to subsequent forecasts
as multiple days of rain will impact the crest and duration
of the flooding.
– Flood stage is 39.0 feet.
