Loosahatchie River at Arlington

For the Loosahatchie River…including Arlington…Major flooding is
forecast.

* WHAT…Moderate flooding is occurring and major flooding is
forecast. This approaches the flood of record.

* WHERE…Loosahatchie River at Arlington.

* WHEN…Until Monday afternoon.

* IMPACTS…At 24.0 feet, Brunswick Road is beginning to flood. Lots
north of Phillip Drive and south of Brief Road are being covered.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 1:15 AM CDT Friday the stage was 23.6 feet.
– Forecast…The river will rise to 24.0 feet this morning. It
will hold nearly steady through the weekend.
– Flood stage is 20.0 feet.
