Flood Warning issued April 5 at 12:08PM EDT until April 6 at 8:00PM EDT by NWS Charleston WV

* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE…Portions of southeast Ohio, including the following
counties, Athens, Meigs, Morgan, Perry and Washington and northern
West Virginia, including the following county, Wood.

* WHEN…Until 800 PM EDT Sunday.

* IMPACTS…Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Numerous roads
remain closed due to flooding.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 1208 PM EDT, local law enforcement reported flooding in
the warned area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen.
– Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Parkersburg, Athens, Belpre, Nelsonville, Glouster, Beverly,
Albany, Chesterhill, Vienna, Washington, Boaz, Chauncey, New
Straitsville, Buchtel, Stockport, Jacksonville, Trimble,
Amesville, Stroud Run State Park and Bartlett.
