Ohio River Near Huntington affecting Boyd, Wayne, Cabell and
Lawrence Counties.

For the Ohio River…Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Ohio River near Huntington.

* WHEN…From late Sunday night to Tuesday morning.

* IMPACTS…At 50.0 feet, WV Route 2 at Glenwood floods. Many low
lying sections near the river flood due to backwater.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 1:00 PM EDT Saturday the stage was 46.1 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise above flood stage
early Monday morning to a crest of 50.1 feet early Monday
morning. It will then fall below flood stage early Tuesday
morning.
– Flood stage is 50.0 feet.
– Flood History…This crest compares to a previous crest of
50.1 feet on 01/13/1974.
