Special Weather Statement issued April 5 at 1:51AM CDT by NWS Shreveport LA

At 151 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Cookville, or 7 miles east of Mount Pleasant, moving northeast at 70
mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Locations impacted include…
Spring Hill, New Boston, Lydia, Cason, Nash, Us 259 And I 30
Intersection, Arkinda, Cookville, Roeder, Omaha, Harvard, Redwater,
Arden, Red Lick, Rocky Branch, Red Bank, Bryans Mill, Naples, Almont,
and Mount Pleasant.
