Special Weather Statement issued April 5 at 2:25AM CDT by NWS Shreveport LA

At 225 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
New Boston, moving northeast at 45 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Locations impacted include…
Bright Star, Saratoga, Ashdown, Lockesburg, Ben Lomond, New Boston,
Oak Grove, Wilton, Central, Leary, Wallace, Millwood, Arden, Red
Bank, Hooks, Browntown, Pine Prairie, Ogden, Red Bluff, and Richmond.
