Special Weather Statement issued April 5 at 2:37AM CDT by NWS Shreveport LA

At 236 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Maud, or 7 miles south of New Boston, moving northeast at 55 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Locations impacted include…
Fulton, Bright Star, Spring Hill, Maud, Mandeville, Nash, Leary,
McNab, Redwater, Texarkana, Millwood, Red Lick, Red Bank, Wake
Village, Homan, Hooks, Pine Prairie, Ogden, Red Bluff, and New
Boston.
