Flash Flood Warning issued April 6 at 2:25AM CDT until April 6 at 4:00AM CDT by NWS Huntsville AL

At 225 AM CDT, Trained weather spotters reported thunderstorms
producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 3 inches
of rain have fallen, with locally higher amounts up to 4 inches
Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD…Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE…Trained spotters reported.

IMPACT…Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include…
Florence, Muscle Shoals, Russellville, Sheffield, Tuscumbia, Red
Bay, Phil Campbell, Killen, Town Creek, Cherokee, Littleville,
Lexington, Leighton, St. Florian, Underwood-Petersville, Belgreen,
Vina, Hodges, Waterloo and New Bethel.
