* IMPACTS…Expect many areas of slow moving or standing water.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 1108 AM CDT, areas of flooding continue due to the heavy
rain that occurred late last week. Between 3 and 6 inches of
rain fell over the region.
– While additional showers are expected through the afternoon,
rainfall amounts will not be enough to cause additional
flooding.
– Much of the lingering flooding is in low spots and near
creeks in hilly terrain, where water is slow to drain.
