current in the surf zone.

* WHERE…All Atlantic beaches of Volusia, Brevard, Indian River,
Saint Lucie, and Martin counties.

* WHEN…Through late tonight.

* IMPACTS…Rip currents can sweep even the best swimmers away
from shore. Longshore currents can pull swimmers into deeper
water, making them more susceptible to dangerous rip currents.
