Carolina…

Tuckasegee River below Everett Street in Bryson City affecting
Swain County.

* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive runoff continues.

* WHERE…Tuckasegee River at below Everett St, in Bryson City.

* WHEN…Until this evening.

* IMPACTS…At 9.0 feet, River overflows its banks and will begin to
move into the Bear Hunter Campground near Bryson City.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 1:32 PM EDT Monday the stage was 8.2 feet.
– Bankfull stage is 8.0 feet.
– Forecast…The river crested near 9.0 feet around noon and
will continue to fall this afternoon.
– Action stage is 8.0 feet.
– Flood stage is 10.0 feet.
