Mississippi…Louisiana…Arkansas…

Mississippi River Near Greenville affecting Chicot, East Carroll,
Washington and Issaquena Counties.

Mississippi River At Vicksburg affecting Jefferson, Madison,
Claiborne, Tensas and Warren Counties.

Mississippi River At Natchez affecting Adams, Concordia and
Wilkinson Counties.

…The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Mississippi…Arkansas…

Mississippi River Near Arkansas City affecting Chicot, Bolivar,
Washington and Desha Counties.

* WHAT…Moderate flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Mississippi River at Vicksburg.

* WHEN…From late Thursday night to Wednesday, April 30.

* IMPACTS…At 48.0 feet, Culverts in South Vicksburg west of
Highway 61 South are full. Low lying businesses near the railroad
begin to take on water.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 11:00 AM CDT Monday the stage was 30.8 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise above flood stage
early Friday morning to a crest of 48.5 feet Sunday, April
20.
– Flood stage is 43.0 feet.
– Flood History…This crest compares to a previous crest of
48.5 feet on 05/25/2017.
