Flood Warning issued April 7 at 11:56AM CDT by NWS Paducah KY

…The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in
Illinois…Indiana…Kentucky…

Ohio River at Owensboro, Newburgh Dam, Mount Vernon, JT Myers Dam,
Shawneetown, and Golconda.

.Very heavy rainfall ranging from 6 to 15 inches fell across the
Ohio River basin over the past week. This will keep river levels
elevated over the next week and beyond. Moderate flooding
is forecast for most locations from Owensboro down to Golconda, with
the exception of Shawneetown which is forecast to reach major flood
stage early next week.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
forecast.

* WHERE…Ohio River at Mount Vernon.

* WHEN…Until further notice.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 6:00 AM CDT Monday the stage was 41.0 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise to a crest of 49.4
feet early Sunday afternoon.
– Flood stage is 35.0 feet.
