…The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Kentucky…Indiana…

Ohio River at McAlpine Lower affecting Jefferson, Meade, Clark,
Hardin, Harrison and Floyd Counties.

.Heavy rain from the past several days will cause the river to
remain in flood.

* WHAT…Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
forecast.

* WHERE…Ohio River at McAlpine Lower.

* WHEN…Until further notice.

* IMPACTS…At 65.0 feet, Parts of US 31W (Dixie Highway) flood from
I-265 (Gene Synder Freeway) interchange to West Point KY.
Riverfront parks in Clarksville and New Albany flood.
At 66.0 feet, Lock is closed. Floodgates at Riverport are closed.
At 67.0 feet, Blackiston Mill Road floods at Silver Creek in
Clarksville.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 12:00 PM EDT Monday the stage was 65.3 feet.
– Bankfull stage is 45.0 feet.
– Recent Activity…The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 12:00 PM EDT Monday was 65.3 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise to a crest of 68.5
feet early Wednesday morning.
– Flood stage is 55.0 feet.
– Flood History…This crest compares to a previous crest of
67.1 feet on 02/26/2018.
