…The National Weather Service in Lake Charles LA has issued a
Flood Watch for the following rivers in Louisiana…

Atchafalaya River At Simmesport

Atchafalaya River Above Butte La Rose

…The Flood Watch is extended for the following rivers in
Louisiana…

Atchafalaya River At Morgan City

The next statement will be issued Tuesday afternoon at 1230 PM CDT.

* WHAT…Flooding is possible.

* WHERE…Atchafalaya River at Morgan City.

* WHEN…From Tuesday, April 15 until further notice.

* IMPACTS…At 7.0 feet, Buildings at the foot of Ann Street on the
river side of the flood wall will flood as water overtops the Rio
Oil Company dock. Buildings on the river side of the Berwick
floodwall will flood. River traffic restrictions will be strictly
enforced. In addition, backwater flooding could potentially impact
portions areas around Lake Palourde and Stephensville.

– At 11:00 AM CDT Monday the stage was 3.3 feet.
– Forecast…Flood stage may be reached Tuesday, April 15.
