Special Weather Statement issued April 7 at 4:25PM EDT by NWS Wilmington NC

At 424 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm
capable of producing a landspout over Floydale, or near Dillon,
moving northeast at 50 mph.

HAZARD…Landspouts and wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Gusty winds
could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured
objects.

Locations impacted include…
Latta, Marietta, Mcleod Medical Center, Fork, Floydale, Lake View,
Dillon, Kemper, Fairmont, Orrum, Barnesville, and Proctorville.

This includes Interstate 95 in South Carolina between mile markers
184 and 194.
