At 537 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Lake City, moving northeast at 55 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Locations impacted include…
Lake City, Florence, Mars Bluff, Cades, Williamsburg Regional
Hospital, Hebron, Kingstree, Scranton, Quinby, New Hope, Coward,
Carolinas Hospital System, Mcleod Regional Medical Center, Hyman,
Effingham, Hannah, Central Crossroads, Pamplico, Francis Marion
University, and Carolinas Hospital System – Cedar Tower.

This includes Interstate 95 in South Carolina between mile markers
169 and 172.
