…The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in
Illinois…Indiana…

Wabash River.

Wildcat Creek near Lafayette.

.Extensive lowland flooding continues along the length of the Wabash
River, with significant flooding on the lower Wabash at Mount
Carmel. The crest on the Wabash was near Terre Haute Tuesday
afternoon and is expected to reach Riverton Thursday evening and
Mount Carmel on Sunday.

* WHAT…Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
forecast.

* WHERE…Wabash River at Mount Carmel.

* WHEN…Until further notice.

* IMPACTS…At 30.5 feet, Extensive flooding in East Mt. Carmel
Indiana. The road through East Mount Carmel is impassable. Most
structures in this area are elevated 2 to 3 feet above current
flood waters. Vehicles must be parked on higher ground.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 12:00 PM EDT Tuesday /11:00 AM CDT Tuesday/ the stage was
26.3 feet.
– Recent Activity…The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 12:00 PM EDT Tuesday /11:00 AM CDT Tuesday/ was
26.3 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise to a crest of 30.7
feet early Sunday afternoon.
– Flood stage is 19.0 feet.
