Saline River Near Rye affecting Ashley, Drew, Bradley and
Cleveland Counties.
For the Saline River…including Rye…Moderate flooding is forecast.
* WHAT…Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
forecast.
* WHERE…Saline River near Rye.
* WHEN…Until further notice.
* IMPACTS…At 29.0 feet, Railroad Bridge across the river east of
Warren effected. State Highway 8 in Eastern Bradley County may be
flooded. State Highway 8 Bridge at Longview between Ashley and
Bradley counties and numerous county roads along the river flooded.
At 30.0 feet, A few houses and numerous cabins along the river in
Ashley, Bradley, and Drew counties may be inundated or isolated.
In December 2009 the river crested at 30 ft.

– At 11:15 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 28.0 feet.
