Silvies River Near Burns affecting Harney County.

.Warm temperatures today and Thursday will melt snowpack and
increase river flows into this weekend.

For the Silvies River…including Burns…flooding is forecast to
continue.

* WHAT…Flooding is occurring and flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Silvies River near Burns.

* WHEN…Until early Sunday afternoon.

* IMPACTS…Flooding is occurring and affecting roads and homes.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 12:00 PM PDT Wednesday the stage was 11.6 feet.
– Bankfull stage is 10.5 feet.
– Forecast…The river will remain near flood stage, rising
above flood stage Friday evening with a forecast crest of
12.1 feet on Saturday evening. It will remain at or near
flood stage into next week.
– Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
