Mississippi…

Big Sunflower River At Sunflower affecting Sunflower County.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
forecast.

* WHERE…Big Sunflower River at Sunflower.

* WHEN…Until Monday morning.

* IMPACTS…At 25.0 feet, Water begins to cover a small section of
Moll Road northeast of Indianola. Water begins to spread across
farmland from Jones Bayou. Widespread agricultural flooding is a
occurring in this area.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 9:30 AM CDT Wednesday the stage was 24.8 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise to a crest of 25.0
feet just after midnight tonight.
– Flood stage is 21.0 feet.
