Mississippi River At Red River Landing affecting Pointe Coupee,
West Feliciana and East Baton Rouge Parishes.

For the Lower Mississippi River…including Red River Landing…
Moderate flooding is forecast.

* WHAT…Moderate flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Mississippi River at Red River Landing.

* WHEN…From Thursday evening to Sunday, May 04.

* IMPACTS…At 58.0 feet, Angola farmland on the left bank becomes
inundated.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 10:00 AM CDT Wednesday the stage was 43.9 feet.
– Bankfull stage is 46.0 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise above flood stage
tomorrow evening and continue rising to a crest of 57.4 feet
on Tuesday, April 22.
– Flood stage is 48.0 feet.
