Indiana…Kentucky…Illinois…

Ohio River at Owensboro…Newburgh Dam…Evansville…Henderson…
Mount Vernon…JT Myers Dam… Shawneetown… and Golconda.

.Moderate to major flooding remains forecast along the Ohio River
from Owensboro downstream to Golconda. Water levels continue to
rise, with crests expected this weekend into early next week.

For the Ohio River…including Owensboro, Newburgh Dam, Evansville,
Henderson, Mount Vernon, J.T. Myers Dam, Shawneetown, Golconda…
Moderate to Major flooding is forecast.

– At 11:00 AM CDT Wednesday the stage was 49.5 feet.
– Recent Activity…The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 11:00 AM CDT Wednesday was 49.5 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise to a crest of 51.1
feet early Saturday afternoon. It will then fall below flood
stage Saturday, April 19.
– Flood stage is 38.0 feet.
– Flood History…This crest compares to a previous crest of
50.9 feet on 03/12/1945.
