…The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Illinois…Missouri…Kentucky…

Mississippi River at Cape Girardeau…Thebes…Hickman… and New
Madrid

.Minor flooding is forecast to continue along the Mississippi River
from Cape Girardeau to New Madrid. At Cape Girardeau and Thebes, the
river has crested and is forecast to fall below flood stage late
Friday night. At Hickman and New Madrid, the river is forecast to
crest on Thursday then begin a slow fall.

For the Mississippi River…including Cape Girardeau, Thebes,
Hickman, New Madrid…Major flooding is forecast.

* WHAT…Major flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Mississippi River near Hickman.

* WHEN…Until further notice.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 12:00 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 44.6 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise to a crest of 45.0
feet tomorrow morning.
– Flood stage is 34.0 feet.
